Daily Journal Continued April 21, 1999, By William Thomas Thompson Prophecies of Bob Jones Sr. I see coming true everyday. Yesterdays’ shooting at Littleton Colorado has brought on a mass demand for more police protection from our violent selves as it always does. While police are falling over each other here now. The Devil is death and our school system has gone to hell already with its ultra liberal text books and evolutionary teachings that discredit the true and living God Almighty. I fear for the people in schools and I fear for the nation, now they all pray but God is still outlawed as we give a seat to Satan in the highest court in the land. We give our children to the devils mind from day one on television with the vises of "Satan that old dragon the devil". Bob Jones University Unusual Films filmed here tonight until after midnight finishing their second movie entitled Fact and Fiction. The first movie made here is entitled Treasure Map. The movie is about fixing up an old house and a secret room filled with treasure, I wish it were true but it is not, they had the house all illuminated with bright lights from a high lift bucket truck, it so bright like the sun shinning. The many people involved like there was an army moving over the lawn. Bob Jones University has been a great blessing to Greenville with its 5,000 students and more and now with an enlarged grade school. They have made movies since the 50's here and never is a student in any trouble with the law. Let the message be heard loud and clear as an example of how to run a school by keeping the devil out and keeping God in as a Christian University that tolerates no lose conduct at all. Bob Jones University prides them in the finest of all higher education. I appreciate their independence from government support or controls while they maintain the highest level of performance in every way and from every view. A conservative school from the beginning and known as fundamental in Bible practice, Bob Jones has world respect. Never will you find a Bob Jones student smoking or drinking alcohol in any form. It is a model school and much more. WMUU Radio AM FM is the finest in the world. BJ's art is world famous, they are almost independent and free standing with their own printing company and dairy farm, dry cleaners and more. I buy milk and eggs there; I assume it is free from steroids though they never seem to go out for health food. The University is fast moving and very progressive with no foolishness and no loss of time. The vision of Doctor Bob Sr. still rings from his South East Alabama roots of Southern Gospel and I still hear him on early morning radio here. I am always blessed by the power in his message, a simple common sense to one and to all of start right and to do right and never be sorry. Vespers in the Rodeheaver Auditorium on Sunday afternoon brought a touch of class for us growing up. These services were open to the public and it was great to take a date. I knew Dr. Bob, Jr., he was the great art appreciater who purchased the famous world renowned sacred art collection that today graces some 40 galleries in the on campus museum and is open free to the public. Until I saw the vision to paint, I never took advantage of all this. Today their art museum is what I show out of town visitors and the beautiful campus with flowers just a mile from the Gassaway Mansion North.
